NARANJO 141 CDMX Residency

NARANJO 141’s residency program is an integral part of the gallery, where local and international artists are invited to live and work in Mexico City at the NARANJO 141 house. Following the residency, the gallery will offer a show of the work made during the artists' time in Mexico. The NARANJO 141 house is located in the Santa María la Ribera district of Mexico City, and is home to the gallery exhibition spaces, the artist's residence and the artist's studio in one.

The program is centered around supporting artists early in their career. Our residents get to live and work in an environment and atmosphere that perhaps they would not have had the opportunity to engage with otherwise. By exposing the artists to new surroundings, language, people, culture, histories and traditions, the residency will serve to inspire our artists and facilitate their growth and development at a formative moment in their career.

NARANJO 141 is managed in a less exclusive forum, where emerging artists, gallerists and collectors can collaborate together. NARANJO 141 artists who are shaping the contemporary narrative will be connected to an engaged group of institutions, gallerists and collectors. A significant objective of the NARANJO 141 program is to collectively build the bridge between all these dimensions.

By invitation only.
